Lang Pioneer Village (Peterborough)

Village open daily mid-May to mid-October. Sunday 1 to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Holiday Mondays 1 to 5 p.m. Every Sunday there are special events, demonstrations and displays. The Visitor Center is open year-round. Some attractions include Milburn House, Tinsmith Shop, David Fife’s Log Cabin, Barge, Glen Alda Methodist Church and much more.

The Greensides’ Farm

Within walking distance of campground. Open daily year round. Stations of the Cross at the Farm.

Horsin’ Around

Located three miles West of Marmora. A leather outlet, Indian Crafts and jewelry.

Marmoraton Iron Mine

One mile East. Open pit iron ore mine, 700 feet deep, rock samples abound.

Hastings Heritage Trail

An abandoned railway line, from Trenton to Algonquin Park, with many trails leading off to cover Hastings County and beyond. Just south of Marmora, the trail intersects the Trans Canada Trail, from Rice Lake to Perth. These trails can be used for hiking, biking, ATVs, horseback riding and more. Access these right from the park!

Indian River Reptile Zoo
