The most important rodeo of the year. Held mid-January at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds.

Bullnanza

The top 30 bull riders in the world competing against pro rodeos roughest stock. Held early February at the Lazy E Arena.

Affair of the Heart

Held each February and October. It is one of the nation’s largest art and crafts festivals held at the Fairgrounds.

Timed Event Championship of the World

The top all-around cowboys in the world compete in all five-timed events over five, grueling performances -- heading, heeling, calf-roping, steer roping and steer wrestling. Held mid-March at the Lazy E Arena.

Reba McEntire Pro Celebrity Rodeo

Held the end of March at the Lazy E Arena.

April Events

Medieval Fair at Norman, Oklahoma; Lazy E Spring Barrel Futurity (early April); Centennial Horse Show, multibreeds (mid-April); and 89ers Days PRCA Rodeo (late April).

May Events

Non-Pro Cutting -- largest event of its kind in the world (early May); Cowboy Chuck Wagon Gathering -- great family fun with live entertainment, children’s activities and authentic chuck wagon food (mid-May); and NCAA Women’s College World Series (late May).

June Events

Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival (early June); National Reining Horse Derby (mid-June); National Appaloosa Horse Show (late June to early July).

International Arabian Horse Show

Exciting and colorful competition featuring over 800 horses (late July).

October Events

Grand National Morgan Horse Show -- 1,000 of the finest Morgan horses compete for world championship honors (mid-October); Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo (mid-October); and U.S. Team Roping Championships -- the best in team roping from U.S. and Canada (late October to early November).

November Events

World Championship Quarter Horse Show (early to mid-November); National Finals Steer Roping (late November); and National Reining Horse Futurity (late November to early December).

World Championship Barrel Racing Futurity

Over 1,000 world-class barrel racers compete for $500,000 (early December).
