A special evening at the zoo highlighting the romantic behavior of the animals.

March Events

Tulsa Indian Art Festival (art show, educational demonstrations, traditional food, historical exhibits and more) -- NAIA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship (student athletes from 32 teams across the country compete in this prestigious annual event.)

April Events

Zoofari at Tulsa Zoo -- The Perfect Setting (a variety of artistically arranged table settings on display).

Tulsa International Mayfest (May)

Here artists and artisans display their work for show and sale. Held in Main Mall located in Downtown Tulsa.

June Events

Light Opera OK Festival -- “Oklahoma!” (the acclaimed outdoor production of Rodgers and Hammerstein) -- Juneteenth Celebration (a jazz, blues and gospel music festival) -- Tulsafest (two-week music experience featuring Chamber music, jazz and big band) -- Reggaefest (sounds of Jamaica plus food and fun fill the park).

July Events

Tulsa’s Boom River Celebration (Oklahoma’s largest free July 4th celebration) -- An Affair of the Heart, Heart of Tulsa (on of the nation’s largest arts and craft festivals).

August Events

Gatesway International Balloon Festival -- BOk/Williams Jazz on Greenwood (an annual event featuring food and jazz) -- Inter-Tribal Indian Club of Tulsa - Pow Wow of Champions (more than 35 tribes participate in dance contests and cultural activities).

September Events

Chili Cookoff and Bluegrass Festival -- Festival Hispano (traditional dancing, music and food) -- Oklahoma Scottish Games and Gathering -- Greek Holiday (folk dancing and authentic Greek cuisine) -- Tulsa State Fair.

October Events

Oktoberfest -- Tulsa Run (15-kilometer races along with a 3-kilometer fun run).

November Events

Veteran’s Day Parade -- Festival of Trees -- BMX Grand Nationals -- ZooLightful (an array of Christmas lights and decorations set the stage for an evening of family fun)
