Ardmore / Marietta KOAMeet Your Hosts![]() Finding a KOA for sale in Oklahoma was exactly what retired engineer Gerald Burns was looking for in March of 2000. After looking into other campgrounds and various resorts, he settled on the Ardmore KOA. Moving to Oklahoma from Illinois, Gerald began to renovate. After working on the grounds and improving the sites, Gerald is very proud of his landscaping. The scenery is rolling hills and many trees, located on the base of the Arbuckle Mountains. Customer service is very important to Gerald and he strives to make his visitors comfortable. "I try to provide the best customer service that I can," Gerald said. Employees have the freedom to do whatever is necessary to keep campers happy and relaxed. Firewood is hauled, propane bottles are filled, and campers are escorted to their sites. Even delivering mail to long-term campers is a service that is provided. "We do any little thing that the campers need, such as a block of wood to put under their tire. Anything is done in order to make their stay comfortable," Gerald said. In his spare time, Gerald likes to fish. He is interested in photography and takes trips entirely devoted to taking pictures. |
