2nd Annual Ancient Way Cycling Tour

The Ancient Way Cycling Tour is a 33 mile all-paved tour along Highway 53, the Ancient Way linking Acoma and Zuni. The tour begins in Grants on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 9:00am and travels down Highway 53 past San Rafael, La Vega, and up to the Zuni-Acoma Trailhead. Here, cyclists turn around and ride back to Grants. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the men's and women's categories.
The Ancient Way Cycling Tour is part of the region's Ancient Way Fall Festival, A two-week event that features arts and crafts shows, live entertainment, and other activities. For more information and entry forms, contact the Grants/Cibola Chamber of Commerce at 505-287-4802.
