Free admission. Located 12 miles from campground. Open seven days a week Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and most Holidays 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Closed New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Musical Wonder House - Wiscasset, Maine

Just 20 miles from campground. Guided tours provided with an admission fee charged. Come see the showplace for mechanical musical instruments. Summer/Fall schedule is open May 15 through October 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (daily and Sunday). Gift shop is open from May 15 until Thanksgiving from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum

Located at Bowdoin College in Brunswick Maine, admission is free of charge. The museum's collections include arctic exploration gear, natural history specimens and artifacts and drawings made by Inuit and Indians of North America.

Children's Discovery Museum

This museum offers hands-on opportunities for youngsters through grade five to have fun while learning. The museum is located in Augusta Maine, and is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm. Hours are extended during school holidays, and summer vacation.
